“Would you rather be right or be married?”

Esther Perel

Couple Therapy

Couple therapy is an opportunity to hear your partner in a safe environment, express your own emotions and reflect on your relationship together, supported by a neutral but kind external party.

With compassion and honesty, I will invite you to share your fears, frustrations, anger, sadness and hopes. I believe that understanding these emotions is essential for nurturing the relationship you want to build together, whether that involves strengthening your connection, addressing conflicts, or making difficult decisions. I work in English and in French.

Working with me

I often work with the following issues:

  • Loss of trust, possibly following a betrayal, whether through an affair or selfish actions that hurt the other person.

  • Arguments and conflicts: All couples experience disagreements. While healthy communication is important, frequent arguing or negative responses can harm the relationship.

  • Boredom in the relationship: One or both partners may wonder why they stay, feeling love still exists but the spark has diminished.

  • Roles and responsibilities: Partners may have settled into specific roles that once worked but no longer serve either of you, or there may be shifts in the balance of responsibilities.

It’s also normal for couples to come to therapy with unclear or conflicting goals. In those moments, I work with you to clarify your current situation, explore your true needs, and understand what the relationship means to both of you. By examining these questions, we can identify your next steps, whether that involves working through your issues to stay together or making the decision to part ways. I remain neutral and fully committed to supporting your relationship, guiding you with honesty, empathy, and clarity every step of the way.

I work face to face at City Therapy Space in the City of London, or online via Zoom.
